As a committee, we work to encourage capable Republicans to run for office, participate in party caucuses and conventions, support and elect qualified Republicans to office, inform Old Saybrook Republicans of pending local or state legislation that concerns Old Saybrook, provide recommendations for improvements to Old Saybrook, generate, administer, and distribute party funds, and submit the required periodic reports to the State Elections Commission.

Our objectives include increasing Republican voter turnout, supporting Republican candidates, promoting Republican values, building a strong local Republican Party, increasing community engagement, and enhancing fundraising efforts.

Our Mission is to assist candidates running for office. RTC members work on campaigns by preparing and distributing campaign literature, by holding neighborhood “meet and greet the candidates” events, by working at headquarters and the polling places, by making phone calls, and in other ways to promote local Republican candidates. The Committee also raises funds for candidates.
