Theresa Watford is a lifelong Old Saybrook resident and a passionate advocate for community service. She currently works as an analyst for Connecticut’s leading healthcare system, bringing strong organizational and problem-solving skills to everything she does.

Theresa has an impressive record of civic involvement, having served on numerous local boards and commissions in roles ranging from board member to president, treasurer, and registrar. She continues to give back through hands-on volunteer work at area soup kitchens, the Westbrook Elks veterans luncheons, Habitat for Humanity, and as a sixth-grade CCD teacher at her church.

Theresa’s deep love for Old Saybrook and appreciation for all the town offers inspire her to serve on the Parks and Recreation Commission. She believes the commission plays a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of life in town, and she’s eager to help expand opportunities for residents of all ages to connect, play, and thrive.
