Barbara is running for a third term as Old Saybrook’s Treasurer.  She has an excellent understanding of, and an extensive background in, municipal government, having served 13 years as Wallingford’s Town Clerk and Clerk of the Council for 13 years.  She is a former Registrar of Voters and was an Election Moderator working the polls for many years.  

Barbara and her husband moved to Old Saybrook eight years ago and wonder why they waited so long!  They love the water, our restaurants and the great people they meet every day.

In her third term as Treasurer, Barbara’s focus will not waiver; to invest responsibly in the highest and safest returns possible for the townspeople of Old Saybrook!  Barbara takes her duties as Treasurer very seriously, keeping up with the markets daily.  

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her six grandchildren, power walking, reading, as a member of her Knollwood book Club that she formed, and traveling.

Barbara looks forward to a continued partnership with Carl Fortuna and Scott Giegerich keeping the town’s finances in a positive stable environment!
