parks and recreations commission

Bror has been serving on the Parks & Recreation Commission for four years. Bror is a construction Foreman for XENELIS Construction out of Middlefield CT. He spends his week days on large excavation projects all over the state.

Bror has been a coach for many years in youth soccer for his children's teams, and supported youth sports and activities. Bror has never hesitated when called upon to help people and organizations in the community.

Bror and Lauren Ashe, along with their two children, have lived in Old Saybrook for 13 years. They cherish Old Saybrook as a place to call home and raise their children. The Ashe family spends most weekends enjoying the ocean, at the beach or on the boat fishing and cruising around the Sound.

Bror's goal for Parks & Rec is to continue to support the strategic plan put forth when he joined the Commission. It is an aggressive plan to improve many of the town's current parks. Although it will be a long road to see all the projects completed, Bror will keep helping the board to push these projects forward.

If you're curious of the origin of Bror's name he was named after his grandfather who came from Sweden. Bror means "brother" in Swedish. Bror hopes to have your support in this coming election.
