Planning commission

Jonathan has served on the Planning Commission since December 2021 and is running for re-election. He is a Project Manager for O&G Industries, Inc., the largest privately owned construction company in the State.

Jon moved to Old Saybrook seven years ago and enjoys the small-town atmosphere found in Old Saybrook as well as the natural resources the town provides to enable his running, cycling, sailing and paddle boarding. He proudly claims, “I would not want to live anywhere else!”

Over the years Jon has been heavily involved with Habitat for Humanity and served on several Volunteer Fire Companies for the towns in which he lived.

His goals for the Planning Commission are to finalize a comprehensive ‘Plan of Conservation & Development to ensure that Old Saybrook maintains its small town feel while simultaneously enhancing all that the Town has to offer.

It’ll interest you to know that Jon has competed in some 14 Ironmans, 24 Half Ironmans and countless other shorter distance races. When you see him, be sure to wave!
