Star is running for re-election to a third term on the Parks & Rec Commission (OSPR).  On a day-to-day basis, Star is a premier shoreline realtor and estate manager. 

 

Star has a rich family history with Old Saybrook and loves to talk about the joy of raising her family on the CT River and Long Island Sound.  Her experience and knowledge of the Commission’s short term and long-term goals are key to being able to serve efficiently and effectively.

 

Star’s goals for the Parks & Rec Commission are based on her belief that it is indeed possible to bring the community together through excellence in our beaches, parks, fields, facilities and programs.  Therefore, Star intends to continue to see the strategic plan evolve with improvements to all areas that the Commission overseas.

 

Among the items on Star’s bucket list are heli-skiing in British Columbia and learning to fly a helicopter!
