Tax Collector

Erin Colwell is running for Tax Collector. For the past three years, Erin has served on The Zoning Board of Appeals, where she was unanimously elected Vice-Chairperson. 

A proud resident of Old Saybrook for over 20 years, Erin believes the people are what make the community truly special. She has been a dedicated volunteer with the Old Saybrook Historical Society, the OSFD Family Events, and served as PTO Chairperson at both Goodwin and the Middle School while her children were in attendance. Erin serves as President of her neighborhood association, where she oversees annual tax and insurance responsibilities. 

Professionally, Erin is a licensed healthcare broker, currently working with one of the nation’s premier healthcare companies. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from St. Francis University. 

In her free time, Erin enjoys spending time with her family, walking, crafting and cooking. As Tax Collector, her goal is to foster a welcoming, respectful environment where every taxpayer is treated with dignity and fairness.
