Kevin Danby

zoning board of appeals

Originally from Meriden, Kevin and his wife Maribeth of 47 years purchased their first home in Old Saybrook in 1993, and they became full time residents of the town in 2006.  The couple currently lives in Knollwood Beach, and they have 5 children and 5 grandchildren.

Regardless of where he has lived, Kevin has always made time to serve the communities that he lived in.  For instance, he has served on the board of Kuhn Employment Opportunities, Habitat for Humanity, The Meriden Republican Town Committee, the Meriden Housing Authority, and the Meriden ZBA (10 years).  Kevin currently serves as a member of the Old Saybrook Meriden Republican Town Committee.  And, he also serves on the Old Saybrook ZBA (2017 - Present) where he has served as the vice chairman and secretary.

Although Kevin retired from the automotive repair/sales/fuel distribution industry many years ago, he found a new career in Real Estate where he is able to help people realize the American dream of home ownership.

Speaking of helping others, Kevin is passionate about continuing his service to his community by ensuring that everyone in Old Saybrook has access to their government and that their government treats them fairly and with respect. Kevin is proud of his record of helping residents navigate the Zoning Board of Appeals process and would be honored to serve another term.
