Barbara Dennison is a lifelong resident of Old Saybrook and is proud to call this vibrant shoreline community home. In 2025, she joined the Board of Assessment and Appeals to fill a vacancy and is honored to serve the town in this important role.

With over 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry, Barbara brings deep insight into the real estate valuation process and a strong understanding of how property values impact homeowners and the broader community. Her professional background gives her a unique perspective that supports fairness and accuracy in the assessment appeals process.

Outside of her work helping individuals and families achieve the American Dream of homeownership, Barbara enjoys traveling, listening to music, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. She looks forward to continuing her service and contributing to the well-being of Old Saybrook through her role on the Board of Assessment and Appeals.
