board of assessment appeals

Matt is running for re-election to the Board of Assessment Appeals (BAA).  As a successful shoreline realtor, Matt is well-positioned for his role as Commissioner.  He is proud of his civic involvement and the ability to represent both the people and the town.  He has four sons, raised two in Old Saybrook and is the proud granddad to a new granddaughter!  Matt loves all things Old Saybrook especially the views along the Sound and marshes.

 

Beyond his work on the BAA, Matt is an Alternate ZBA member and has been on several corporate Boards of Directors and even found time to participate on the Old Saybrook Westbrook Youth Football Board.

 

Matt’s goals for BAA are simple:  to approach each review with balance, information and a level temperament.
